They'll come face to fin with the resident Grey Nurse Sharks as well as some friendly faces including sea turtles, stingrays and tropical fish, so it's not all scary. All tuition is included and on the day they'll be taught all they need to know to have a safe and successful 30-minute dive in the deep end.

Time
- Shark dives operate daily from Monday to Sunday with 5 sessions running per day between 8am - 6.30pm (differing times daily)
- During the winter months, dives operate Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 11am, 1.30pm and 4pm, Tuesday, Thursday at 10.30am and 1pm, Saturday and Sunday at 8am, 10.30am, 1pm, 3.30pm and 6pm
- Divers need to arrive at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium for their dive brief 30 mins prior. Operating hours are subject to change without notice

- All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or over)
Terms And Conditions
- Divers must arrive at Sydney Aquarium for a dive brief 30 mins prior to their selected time
- Late arrival or non-attendance will result in non admittance to the dive session. Missing your scheduled time is non-refundable
- All dive experiences are non-refundable, however your voucher can be transferred to another person
- Sydney Aquarium will refuse admittance to any person who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol or behaving badly in an offensive or uncooperative manner
- Personal underwater cameras are not permitted on Shark Dive Xtreme
- It is recommended that if customers have a current medical condition, ill health or are pregnant they do not participate in the shark dive due to possible health risk
- A medical questionnaire must be completed and returned no later than 14 days prior to the dive
Voucher Information
- A gift voucher will be received by email after purchase
- Give your gift voucher to your Gift Recipient, they will then need to follow the instructions to redeem their experience
- Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
- Upon redemption a confirmation email/ticket will be sent to the gift recipient

- Vouchers must be printed and presented at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium
- All divers must be the age of 14 years and over
- Divers MUST be able to speak English (for health and safety reasons non-English speakers are unable to dive with sharks)
- Do not drink alcohol the night before you dive
- Do not fly in an aircraft within 24 hours after your dive
- Divers must be able to lift and walk with approx 35kg
- Divers must be in good health
- Some medical restrictions apply
- All non-certified divers are required to complete medical declaration on the day

Recently I went with a friend to do the Xtreme Shark Dive, it was an easy course with no experience and instructions were quick to get through! Before we knew it, we were geared up and in the training pool learning basic diving skills and hand signals before seeming us ready to take the leap into tank only 3 meters deep of course. When you're underwater you move as if you walking on the moon though it is advised not to go jumping cause if fall it hilarious and they will video and everyone in the public will also see you. Our instructors Sam and Porscha were outgoing, easy and so funny, they made the whole task easy and fun so I had no nerves getting into the tank. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone to do this fantastic experience. You get up close and personal to some great predators of the underwater world. And the photos they take underwater are worth every penny! Best experience so far, hot shower included...
Definitely one of the best experiences I've had! Biggest thanks to my instructors Sam & Portia for making the dive super easy when my friend & I are inexperienced scuba divers. The sharks were lingering me and so majestic. The gigantic sting ray came right on top of me. Something you might never experience in the open water! Definitely will do this again but only with Sam & Portia!
The company was easy to deal with and confirmed all aspects as we went. The Sydney aquarium staff were great a big shout out to Kris and Laurie as they did a brilliant job and ensured everything went smoothly. The two of them helped my daughter so much it was really refreshing the staff take so much pride in the work. Well done again and thank you for the experience, one I am sure to redo again.
